pop rocks

i went off campus and saw a little bit of the world tonight. just Bargain Town and the local Kwik mart. but during our trip, me and simpson got some pop rocks. i'd forgottne how kewl they really are. so for those of you who don't know how kewl they are,,,,.........they are so kewl. as we were eating them back in the barracks, one of the other guys came by and asked us what we were eating. i guess he had never had pop rocks before. hehehe. so we gave him some. he wasn't expecting what they do to you. he had the funniest look on his face and made some pretty funky sounds too. good times, good times...
so, being my usual ADD self, i started to think: if a people will make a funny face and funny noises when given pop rocks, what would a cat do? or a duck? or a chiwawa? or a gecko? i'll have to find out some day. that could be my quest in life. what would a fish do? or a gerbil? or a spider monkey?

valet parking

yup. that's right. i got to do valet parking for some rich guys party. it was fun. got to drive some nice cars....a charger, a lexus, a jaguar...and lots of suvs. i was just chil-axing in the barracks on sat night and about 20:30 (that's 8:30 for all ya civi's) my captian came through and told me and 2 other guys to get our uniforms on. we're all like oh crud, what did we do now? then we all go get in his car and he takes us to this big ol' southern house. there's all these people in tuxs and suits. so we got to drive peoples cars around. we din't get paid though. and we weresn't allowed to accept tips. people were trying to give us 10s and 20s, but we weren't allowed to take it. but we might get merrits or something. he had some good times too. there were a coupld lts and captians there. the loosened up and didn't make us do all the regular yes sir no sirs stuff. it was a good time. and then i got to sleep in til 9 the next mornign since we didn't get back til about 01:30. there is also a possiblity i'll get to go and be an usher at the taladega race. it pays $54 a day and its 3 days long....so i really wanna go. but now i have to be responsible and go to class. catch ya'll later.

Well, there's my bed. its SOP perfect (standard operating procedure). hooah. who'd a thunk i'd have a bed that neat? and here is me and dempsey, my roomate. we are playing reverse roles with our shirt colors. hehehe. if you don't get it, nevermind. i have pink eye now. it is not fun. but i get to skip class. i just hope i don't get behind. i don't think i will. my classes aren't that hard.
and yes i shaved my head. like 2 days ago. and its already growing back really thick just like it always was. fri night we have our cresting test. if we pass it we get crested on sat morning. and then we have a big party in the barracks for the guys who aren't leaving. yeah. it's gonna be crazy. last sun we went diving...with a 45 lb wieght. it was prettyfun. then we played dodgeball in the pool. and i just got hit with a wave of tiredness. so i'm gonna hit the sack. catch ya'll later.

In leu of 9-11...

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, the the sea was no more.
And I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband....
And the city had no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb.
The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.
And I heard a loud voice form the throne saying, "See, the home of god is among mortals. HE will dwell with them as thier God; they will be His peoples, and God himself will be with theim; He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away."
And the one who was seated on the throne said, "See, I am making all things new."
Then He said to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end."
The one who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon."

There is hope. There is a future. And there are good things ahead. On this day of sad remembrances, let us look forward to the reinstatement of a perfect world. It is coming.

i'm going to die....

yes its true. yay for me. right outside our door is this huge chunk of wall infected by mold. and its going to kill me. well, maybe not...but it almost did. i woke up this morning and my throat had practically close while i was asleep. it hurt so bad to swallow. it still hurts. adn the doc is nowhere to be found. uhg....
on a happier note, bravo company kicked butt this past weekend during GYMKAHANA. HOOAH!! we won with 230 pts...the 2nd place company had 171pts. oh yeah. we rock. and we will probly get honor company. then we get to wear these orange and black cords on our uniforms. yay. hm......what else to talk about....oh. i really like apples. i've been eating about 3-5 everyday. they are quite yummy. i got a really good one last night. so scrumpcous. ok. well i must go to a class now. ancient civ...its actually kinda enjoyable. i like it. so catch ya'll later.
