john 4:34

"Jesus said unto them, 'My meat is to do the will of Him who sent me, to finish His work.'"

i saw this verse during a service i went to on sunday night. i kinda caught my eye cause i was hungry. but then it sunk it:
to do the will of Him who sent me.
that should be what drives me on. what sustains me. i shouldn't need the support of other people or good friends or recognition for what i do. if i'm doing what's right, that should be all i need. i have found a lot of encouragement in that. i hope you can too.
