My shattered dreams.....
yeah, if you haven't heard already, when i took my breathing test, the doctor said that i have asthma. that means that i not only can't get into SEALs, but i can't even join any branch of the military. that is all that i've ever wanted to do. i have no abitions for anything else. this kinda sucks for me (just a little). i know that God has something better for me, and i believe it, but its kinda hard right now. (i hope its in the form of a girlfriend - hehehe *wink wink*). now i have to start expolring other ideas and colleges and stuff like that. i don't wann go to college. whaaa! maybe i'll just become a hermit or something like that. pray that God would give me some direction soon, cause i hat not knowing what i want to do. ok, well i gotta get back to class. bye bye.

joe, i most definetly will pray for you! i can't imagine how hard that must be! sounds like you're doing an awesome job at accepting God's will! it's tough to get your hopes turned down but it's even tougher to say, "Blessed be Your name" through all of it! with an attitude and personality like yours, Joe, i believe that God has an awesome and exciting future for you!!

Joey, my beloved friend Joey. It seems like you need some cheering up from me. Don't worry about your future, God has everything penciled in on your schedule. You just gotta find out what it is!! Adrienne's right though, you do have alot of talent! So, now that you know that you'll have to use it...start using it!
joe, im real sorry to hear about the results. keep in mind though that this by no means resigns you to a desk job at some office. theres so many options out there for you. law enforcement (SWAT), a bodyguard, bouncer, schoolbus driver, or assasin. or, who knows what'll come up. i do know for a fact though,, there'll be alot more chances to make,,, "friends" when youre not in an all guy bootcamp,,,

If you're still up for the job, than go for Jared's suggestions, but if you plan on ever getting a girl: the fast action jobs don't automatically guarantee a hot chick like in all the movies (yeh, those are rarely very realistic), but i think you should do something with spanish, since you're way good, and i'm not joking!
yeah, i like making "friends". but no matter where i go, they're gonna be linin up for blocks.
if i do a "fast action job" as tirzah said, it will be cause i want to. thats kinda the way i'm leaning right now. we'll see.

That most definitely sucks ______... I'm sorry man.. But don't get too down I'll bet the Lord has plenty of butts for you to kick elsewhere.. so hang tight and do a little prospecting on the side. A guy with as many talents as you doesn't need to worry about finding something to do with his life, the problem is in making sure it's what God wants you to do with it.. I love ya brotha..
thanks for the encouragement. the bouncer thing would be lots of fun, but i would like it too much. right now i'm thinkin i'll try for swat. we'll see how that goes. i have lots of contacts with the police force, and some of them are pretty high up. like, the local cheif of police. hehehe. i wonder if he takes bribes.
