formation freeze out
ok, so the only thing left that i hate about marion is the formations. i've gotten over eveything else and moved on, but i still hate the formations. like today, for instance. we had formation - its 19* outside. and we stand there in our uniforms. and freeze. my nose turned into a dripping water faucett. my ears froze to little pieces of ice. i had to thaw my hands underneath my lamp. but thank goodness for ramen. its helping me warm up, and its way better than the crud from the chow hall. i just need some tobasco sauce.....

cold is torture, especially if you can't move around. Not long now until Christmas. How's the studies going?

when are you coming home???? i'm happy to hear that you like it a lot better down there now. sometimes it just takes time:)
i learned things are a bit warmer when you wear sweatpants and sweatshirts under your uniform. and when they say you cant wear those and they check your collars for extra shirts,, cut a hole in the tip of two socks and wear them over your arms. the cold sucks.
