that's one of my favorite quote by that blessed man. he's one of the few teachers that i've never had a beef with. and i don't think it is even possible. he is such a sweet guy that everybody has to love him. i don't know how he does it, but he is the only teacher who can say the same thing that the other teachers say, yet get it to actually sink in. maybe i'm just partial to him, but i don't care. he is so friendly, and he always cares what's goin on in your life no matter what is goin on in his own life. he is always willing to give advice, but he always takes it back to the Bible and what God thinks about the issue. but i the thing i like the most about him is his grasp on reality. he knows what we think about the rules and how we will respond to them. he also knows that some of the rules are needless. becuase of this, he doesn't get upset about stupid things. instead he encourages us to grow in the areas that are truley important. and he always does it with a smile and an amiable attitude. he doesn't view himself as an authority over us. he becomes a friend and a mentor to us. i will deffinately miss him next year.

Also, you forgot to mention that he's a ladies man. I hope I grow up to be just like him.
What a lady's man indeed! I don't know, I too admire his ability to get us to pay attention even though he might have said the same thing Mr. Lambeth said two minutes before.
maybe we should get him to do announcements I think everyone would heartily agree
that's cool...
well, that might work, but nobody really cares about announcements.
yea definitely huge props for the pastor king fellow
i think alot of people like him because he wont give demerit for stuupid things. thats cool too, but i wonder just how many people grasp that hes so much cooler for such bigger and better reasons. they just like the change of pace.
pastor gives a fresh view on how we're to live. i think a good way you could catagorize what makes him different is that he's honest. he'll be honest that some rules are stupid, and he'll be honest when he says that we still have to obey them. and like you said joe, he'll always have a reason better than, "cuz thats what mr grass wants"
heres to an honest man.
Pastor King subbed only a couple of my classes and they were the funnest classes ever. you wouldn't believe the range of topics we would cover in a 50 minute period!
