"another one bites the dust...."

well, i got him. he's a 2 1/2 year old 6 point 135lb buck (after being gutted). i shot him at 10:20 this morning. stupid idiot ran for about 50 yards so i had to drag him quite a ways to get him out of the woods. then i got the tractor and hauled him up to the barn. it took me a while to skin & butcher him, but i'm done for the evening. my mom fried up the one of the back loins for me (probly the most tender part of the deer). it was really yummy. while i was cutting him up, i learned something really cool. when he still has his lungs, if you take his arms and pull them apart and then push them back together, it makes the deer make a sort of grunting sound. i did it a few times for my mom, but the humor was somehow lost on her. i thought about draping a bloody part of the deer over my arms (which were covered in blood up to my elbows) and going in and tellin my mom that i had cut myself, but she said that she would've gotten really mad at me. (i can't figure out why). well, now i'm gonna take a shower. i reek of the smell of deer and blood. then i'll probly just veg for the rest of the evening. see ya later.
